Accessibility statement
Accessibility
Our commitment to an accessible website, and how to reach us if something doesn’t work for you.
Last reviewed: October 2026
MaxCare Rx wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we have done
- Semantic page structure with landmarks, one main heading per page and a logical heading order.
- A “Skip to content” link and full keyboard support, including the main menu, FAQ accordions, the chat assistant and forms.
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Text and interface colors that meet AA contrast ratios.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Respect for your “reduce motion” setting. The homepage background video does not autoplay when reduced motion is on, and it has a pause button.
- Form fields with visible labels, required-field indicators and clear error messages.
- Layouts that adapt to small screens and to text zoom up to 200%.
Known limitations
- Some videos, including leadership videos and videos hosted on YouTube, do not yet have captions or transcripts. We are working to add them.
- Some downloadable files, such as state disclosure spreadsheets and one-sheets, may not be fully accessible. Contact us for an alternative format.
- Member, plan administrator and analytics portals are separate applications and are not covered by this statement.
